I asked, and I received
In response to a query, friend Tony offers some good thoughts on why we actually do want Paul Hackett going up against Mike DeWine, instead of Sherrod Brown. I agree with a lot of what he says, though I'm still concerned about the fundraising angle.
I'm still chewing on this ... I think that what bugs me most is all the meddlin'. The Schumer meddlin', Brown's about-face, etc.
I always thought the best guy should run. I'm not from Ohio, so I don't know who is the best guy, but I'm not sure if I trust the judges in this political pageant.
PS - I rather like Cardamom, but we'll see what Catherine has to say about her Spice Name!
