The Last Days of Foxhound

I've never really been into webcomics, and I don't know much of the backstory about the universe it's set in. But on Occultatio's recommendation, I started reading Chris Doucette's "The Last Days of Foxhound" a couple days ago. Soon enough I'd read all 200+ strips. Reading the first 18 or so will give you an idea of the characters in all their secret-agent-superantihero goofiness.

I guess it's all Konami all the time here, eh?

Yeah, I guess so. Check in tomorrow when I explain how Social Security privatization will make our country worse at Gradius, and how the US should change its policy towards Castlevania.

Our generals need to leave their Cold War mindset behind; the enemies of the twenty-first century do not function as monolithic national entities, and cannot be dealt with simply by throwing three fireballs and then teleporting.

If I were a consol gamer who played the Metal Gear Solid series, I think this would make more sense. It's still kinda fun, though.

I've heard they're fun, but I just don't own that sort of thing.

Yeah, I've never played MGS either, and I fear to add a console-gaming addiction to my blogging addiction. I generally dig this team-of-wacky-people-with-weird-powers comic thing, though, and Chris manages to cram a whole bunch of funny into each strip.

Slight fanboy crush on Sniper Wolf, too.
