I love Harry and Nancy
Remember when Republicans called Daschle an obstructionist, despite the fact that he let them pass pretty much their entire agenda? I'm sure their memories are more fond these days.

Was very amused at how much hate Republicans could work up about Daschle. Here's a man so clearly everything their Democratic-stereotype is not (from South Dakota, soft spoken, very moderate, very compromising, never proposed an exciting bill in his life), and yet he is El Diablo.
I believe very much in compromise and middle solutions. But this gives me quite a philosophical impasse - when it's clear my opponents do not.
